Beyond bridges… a House

The Josefa House: a space of freedoms, of possibilities where identities criss-cross according to our migrations. Migrations which then reveal our reciprocity, our mutuality, and which are to be considered as fertilities for our humanity…

A house in the heart of bridges, of borders, which are followed, overtaken, stepped over, without confusing political or public-spirited issues.

A House which shouts to the world its need of us all in order to live, freely exposed to the excessive weight of political wills of integration.

A house which offers itself as an experiment of unexpected or expected enrichments; it doesn’t matter, but without a preliminary definition of a particular future to which the other one should conform.

A House respectful of public contingencies, and aware of the weight of economic and financial liberalism or of the porosities of legal positivism, and a house that wants to offer itself between reality and utopia.

Tomorrow, as was the case yesterday, the House represents this challenge in mobility and in stability at the heart of our migrations.

Not bridges, but rather a house built to build an unexpected future because it is not scheduled by some for others, those who would know in advance that a particular type of treasure is to be discovered.

We left, we are coming back, together, as migrants, on the other side of bridges, whether they were crossed or not, or between the shores, united by our migrations, and possibly at peace in the Josefa House.
